SmartSplitAI Contract Review launched on June 1, 2026. The product provides AI-assisted contract analysis for small and medium businesses — companies that need to review contracts regularly but may not have in-house legal counsel for every document.

Two Core Modes

Diff Review — Compare Two Contract Versions. Upload your reference version and the counterparty's proposed version. The system identifies every change — from single-word substitutions to entirely rewritten sections — and classifies each by risk level: high, medium, or low.

This mode is designed for the common negotiation scenario: you send a draft, the counterparty returns a marked-up version, and you need to understand what changed and whether it matters.

Single Contract Analysis — Understand One Document. Upload one contract and specify your company's economic role: are you the one paying, or the one receiving payment? The system analyzes the document from that perspective — because a penalty for late delivery is a risk if you are the contractor and a protection if you are the client.

Document Formats

SmartSplitAI accepts:

• DOCX — The recommended format. Tracked changes are processed: insertions are accepted into the final text, deletions are excluded, and Word comments are extracted separately.
• Text-layer PDF — Works if you can select and copy text from the file. The system extracts the text layer and analyzes it.
• TXT — Plain text works but loses document structure like tables and formatting.

Scanned PDFs without a text layer are not supported. SmartSplitAI does not perform OCR. This is an intentional limitation: OCR errors can introduce inaccuracies that are unacceptable for contract analysis.

What You Receive

The analysis produces a structured AI conclusion:

• Executive summary
• Key risks with classification (high / medium / low)
• Financial implications
• Legal and operational points
• Recommended negotiation positions for significant changes

The conclusion is delivered via email to all designated approvers. No login required to read the results.

Workflow

Contract review is rarely a one-person job. SmartSplitAI's workflow reflects this: a manager initiates the review, and the AI conclusion is sent to multiple approvers — legal counsel, CFO, project lead — each of whom can review the findings from their perspective.
